The family who tried to ‘‘keep her alive” is now trying to ‘‘kill” her. Osman the father who takes the responsibility to kill her takes a trip with Ayse. While Osman is trying to find a way to poison his daughter, Ayse doesn’t know that she will be killed. This trip of father and daughter continues on getting to know each other and emotion of regret.

There have been intense clashes between security forces and separatist terrorist elements on the southeastern border of our country for years. İbrahim’s only son İsmail, in his late forties, is doing his compulsory military service in this region and has 20 days left until his military service ends. Under these conditions, İbrahim, an asthmatic, lives in an old, dilapidated village house with his father İsmail. While he is dealing with a wild animal that is haunting his chickens and eggs, his only source of income, he also wants to hospitalize his father for treatment. Lack of money has caused a rift between him and his wife, and has left him unable to even buy a school notebook for his daughter.

The film depicts the September 12 coup and the torture that took place at that time, telling the story of a young man who was arrested, tortured for days, and then released after it was determined that he was not guilty. After being released, the young man is returning to his hometown by train. During this return journey, flashbacks show the events from the day he met his fiancée until the day he was released. The young man believes that he lost himself during the torture and that his masculinity was taken from him. For this reason, he is afraid to return to his fiancée.

"ANOTHER CHANCE" tells us the story of man who has made many mistakes in the past, and who, having learned from his mistakes, is trying to make up for his errors. Our protagonist has suffered deep regrets for whatever he experienced during a particular period in his life. He is determined to confront all the people he has hurt, and all those people on whose lives he has had a negative impact. Even a simple expression of forgiveness will relieve his conscience. However, forgiveness will not be granted easily by people whose money or dreams have been lost because of him.
