Carlos is a man doomed by restless memories, that meets with himself, in a time warp. Young Carlos faces the forgetfulness of old Carlos, who doesn't recognize his own appearance. They get a package. But the package seems odd. The knot that ties, the smell, the handwriting on the envelope: this could only be sent by his father, Ernesto, who has been dead for many years. A father who always created unusual situations. In this time warp, Carlos is split in two: one Carlos remembers and the other forgets the moments he spent with his father.

In São Paulo, a businessman wants to rehabilitate street children, called "trombinhas", through a social project. After being discouraged by the police, he seeks help from the coach of the Santos Futebol Clube youth team.

A middle-aged man builds a summer house in Cabo Frio, Rio de Janeiro. Married to a beautiful woman, father of two and with a successful career, the house is a symbol of his personal achievements. The painter Tino, in professional and political crisis, receives a telegram from his mother-in-law, Selma, announcing her return from Europe. During the Brazilian military government, journalist Estêvão is sent from Rio de Janeiro to Brasilia to cover the important statement of a minister, but takes the opportunity to deliver incriminating documents to another one.

Featuring previously unseen home footage of their travels, friends, and shared passions—including piano, painting, and books—as well as readings narrated by Pedro Bial and interviews with Cony’s daughter and granddaughter, the documentary offers a mature, female perspective on a fascinating life, capturing his profound humanity and capacity for affection.
