Two parallel tales about two modern women. One is Štefica Cvek, average and lonely girl who desperately tries to find the man of her dreams. The other story is about a woman director who is making the movie about Štefica and has the same problem.

A contemporary drama about a woman at a turning point in life, too old to start life all over, but young enough not to decide to try. After a failed marriage abroad, childless and with unfulfilled expectations, Melisa returns to Zagreb longing for her mother, brother, friends and beloved hometown.

Classical music program on one Zagreb radio station is suddenly interrupted when disturbed war veteran, armed with hadngrenade and explosives, breaks in with strange demands and convincing threats.

Kreso is in the eighth grade of elementary school and loves motorcycles and playing pinball. Because of his hobbies, he has a reputation as a bad boy, and he doesn't fare any better with grades either. His single mother is torn between jobs and has no understanding for his problems, so the boy is left to manage on his own.

A young man who long ago gave over the hard work of being a composer for the easy life of a rich man's son is bamboozled into slapping together a musical production. Having borrowed right and left, and plagiarized the works of a friend, he feels cheap, very cheap. He feels even worse when the awful thing is a success.

A famous cardiologist with an interest in the afterlife almost dies from a heart attack during a jogging session, but is saved from by a vision of a mysterious and beautiful woman whom he starts seeing everywhere he goes.
