Theatre adaptation of Maxim Gorky’s timeless drama first published in 1901, about narrow-mindedness, exclusivism, containing one’s self in some arbitrary, imaginary borders, strict divisions… All these traits help to define the various situations and human relations within the text.

A high school class tries to remove the arrogant teacher Olga known as Dragon by petitioning and boycotting her. The climax ensues when she decides not to release students go home earlier to watch the important football match between Yugoslavia and France, which triggers them all bunking off.

The action takes place over one weekend and shows women who are being treated for infertility at a gynecology clinic, but also face hypocrisy and alienation from society.

Rade is in love with Milica, but her father Marko, a village butcher, does not approve. He wants his son to finish school and leave the village. Marko buys a sick cow from Milica's father, puts a false stamp on it, and sells the meat as if it were healthy. Bane and Vesna are young and happy couple. Vesna gets pregnant, but soon she was told that Bane was not faithful to her, which was a lie made by their female acquintance. Vesna's parents decide to sell their little son to a German couple. After finding out what has happened, Bane kidnaps the baby and runs away with it on his motorcycle. With the help of his loyal friends, he seeks hideout from the police.
