Isaiah and Anargyros are partners and keep together a wedding bureaux office. Things are not going well lately, and Isaiah's wife, Kallirroi, is in charge of helping the situation. She finds a bridegroom for her daughter, a wealthy family. But the groom is not as rich as he is in fact the son of the groom. The situation is getting even more confused since her daughter is not the daughter of a shipowner as he presented her!

Lena Konstantinidi, a wealthy young woman who is paralyzed, falls in love with a poor student, Alexis, who sells newspapers to earn money for his studies. The evil stepmother Elsa, who envies her husband's daughter, is opposed to this marriage and does everything she can to thwart it, even going so far as to accuse Alexis of stealing a valuable statuette. However, her plans are completely ruined, thanks to Alex's kindness and the help of a young street vendor whom Alex had taken into his home after the death of his mother.

Graceful Sofia falls in love with Alkis, a charming young writer. They make plans for the future; but, one day, her boss, Memas, enters the picture: a tough guy who owns a cabaret in Trouba, and wants Sofia back.

A young woman (Liza Lorentzou) lives with her father (Lykourgos Kallergis) in a lighthouse on an island in the Aegean. The arrival of a fisherman (Kostas Gkousgkounis) changes her life when they become sexually involved. A yacht with three English women complicates the situation. In the end, the daughter of the lighthouse keeper chases the English women away from the island in order to be alone with her lover.

A chance meeting between Vantar, who succeeded his father as leader of the clan, and the beautiful Gypsy woman Maira triggers the beginning of a passionate love. But he is not the only one who desires her.

Theodoros arrives in Greece from abroad. He is welcomed by friends and acquaintances, all eager to host and pamper him, with an eye on his supposed wealth. Theodoros, poor but cunning, promises everyone—each one secretly from the others—that they will inherit his fortune.

A police officer arrests pitiable Thanasis, who admits to having stolen the trousers of a happy man in the hope of becoming happy himself, after being advised to do so by a Gypsy. He confesses that, in order to marry his girlfriend, he asked to borrow a pair of trousers, but no one would lend them to him, so he went ahead and stole a pair of trousers, but no one was willing to lend him. So he decided to steal one. The policeman assists him and finds the trouser holder and also works for Thanasis. So the latter can now marry his girlfriend and make a family.

Vangelis is a lazy guy who's trying to earn some money to marry his beloved, but he is captured by the police who confused him with a wanted man. Eventually, the true crook is arrested and Vangelis returns to his beloved.
