Accountant and would-be song-writer Willy inadvertently gets into a live TV game show and is tasked with finding, presenting and performing with a motley band of six amateur musicians within 90 minutes.

Eberhard Dobermann is a widower and a policeman who loves to control the roads and let people pay fines. Even with his neighbour and friend Jutta Schmalbach he has no pity. Thus he cannot understand why his daughter Karin just falls in love with a racing pilot called Walter. But it gets even worse when Eberhard wins a VW-Kaefer at the annual police party. So he has to learn to drive and thus even brings his teacher close to a heart attack.

In this three-act operetta by Hungarian composer Emmerich Kálmán, a dashing and mysterious circus performer is hired by a disappointed suitor of Princess Fedora Palinska to pose as a nobleman and marry her. This 1969 performance was produced for West German television.

In his film attempt, Berlin cabaret artist Wolfgang Neuss strings together various sketches to create a story that deals with the division of Germany based on motifs from the Münchhausen legend. A farmer from the western occupation zone crashes as a reconnaissance pilot over the Soviet Union. He returns to the West via the island of Sylt by miraculous means and finally on the back of a rocket. But he finds his future farmland in the East, on the other side of the fence.
