Shams El-Barudy

The film is an adaptation of a novel by Ismåeel Walieddin. The main character, Ahmad, leaves rural eastern Egypt for the city hoping to become economically self-sufficient, gets an apartment for his parents, and obtains a law degree. He and his family are refugees from a town occupied by the Israeli army, Ismaåilia. Ali, the owner of the Malatily Bathhouse, offers to let him stay there for free. Ahmad encounters several characters there, including Naåeema, a prostitute who he becomes obsessed with, and Raouf, a homosexual man.

Three women each have their own ambitions and aspirations. The first dreams of fame and fortune and meets a rich, married man she attempts to court. The second is a secretary with designs on her boss, even though he too is married. Having learned from her friends' experiences, the third takes an altogether different path.

A little girl whose mom shut her away from men and taught her to hate and despise them finally falls in love.

During a trip outside Beirut, a love story develops between two young men: a beautiful girl and her young lover. This story then faces many troubles, but they overcome them and get married.

Magdy, the struggling student at the Faculty of Medicine, meets Souad, the wife of his professor Dr. Fikry, and she admires him and asks her husband to let him work in his clinic. They get involved in a relationship, but events take a tragic turn.

Azhar suffers from her father's rigidness, and she falls in love with Mustafa, and her father sends her to live with her aunt in the farmhouse, and there he tries to woo her with Youssef, then he soon assaults her, and she keeps the matter in secret.
