Erich Kasulke and Rudolf Portmann are comedian stars of the former GDR. When the Wall falls, so does their success. Portmann becomes a successful businessman, while Kasulke tries to continue working on the comedy circuit - without success. When his wife also cheats on him, he decides to start a new life in Berlin. There he quickly meets his old friend Portmann, who has built up a huge company. He offers him a job. But Erich puts the entire company in danger...

In November of 1939, the British consulate in Norway receives documents saying that the Nazis are conducting secret rocket research in Peenemünde. But the British doubt the authenticity of the so called "Oslo report". Thus, the Germans continue their experiments unimpeded. At the same time, resistance groups from France, England, Poland, and Germany try to find and to sabotage the secret Nazi research base. When the first "V 2" rocket is successfully launched, the Allied commanders finally become interested in the "Oslo report".

This elaborate two-part television film features a section from the life of communist worker leader Ernst Thälmann. It begins with the bloody riots on May 1, 1929 in Berlin, in which police officers shot at demonstrating workers, and ends with February 7, 1933, when Thälmann appeared as a speaker at the illegal meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Germany in goat neck. This period was marked by the struggle of the Communists against the ever stronger National Socialists and the rise of Adolf Hitler.

Susanne and Christian get to know each other during a wonderful week in summer - and fall in love. This, however, leads to conflicts: up to now, Susanne has been living with Wolfgang, a biologist. A dream becomes a nightmare: Shortly after the Iranian doctor Murath Tehrani and his German wife Claudia moved into a chic villa on the outskirts of Leipzig, threatening couple flutter into the house and Claudia is harassed by anonymous callers with xenophobic slogans. First, the woman tries to hide the threat from her husband. But not even the police can help her. Suddenly, every stranger approaching the house appears as a threat. Psychological pressure is also increasing the pressure on the harmonious marriage of the young couple. But Murath and Claudia are unwilling to be driven out of their homes by aggressive racists.

By coincidence, a couple who have just fallen in love are targeted by the Russian mafia, who have made a deal with a shady Berlin businessman and a corrupt politician. When the young woman is kidnapped, her boyfriend sets off on a dangerous search for her.

Civil engineer Berger is looking for his mother and learns that she has died and was last in a home run by the notorious construction company Huberty. When the company boss Huberty becomes the victim of an assassination attempt shortly afterwards, suspicion falls on Berger, but Huberty's death is linked to the fraudulent bankruptcy of the construction company. The boss's wife is found to be the culprit. An unpleasant surprise awaits Berger, a civil engineer from Hamburg, when he returns home after years of working in Mexico: his mother has disappeared. Her tracks are lost in a "retirement home" run by the Huberty Society. Berger suspects that his mother has been the victim of a crime. He hunts a murderer and becomes the hunted himself...

It began with the unexpected death of a member of the Bundestag who was known to the public as a well-paid lawyer and influential man in politics. What was not known, however, was that he mysteriously died of poisoning in a foreign hospital for the poor. It was concealed that the deceased, as a contact person for a Swiss arms company, represented a West German arms contract worth 2.5 billion marks. The Military Counterintelligence Service tried everything to conceal the explosive events...

The wedding of investment advisor Christian Zeiler to Katharina Buchheim, the daughter of a wealthy family, is just around the corner. On the eve of his wedding, his friends Victor and Paul treat him to a huge cake to say goodbye to his bachelorhood. When the enchanting Miriam jumps out of it, Christian is so impressed that the upcoming wedding is almost forgotten. Her colleague Helga, a former student on probation, knows about the councilman's relationship with Christa. But she is afraid to testify. Gregor has to fight his way through a web of dependencies, career thinking and mistrust until he solves the case.
