Andon Qesari

Set during World War I. An Austro-Hungarian expedition sets an archaeological site in the ancient city of Apollonia. The experts of this expedition want to steal ancient monuments, but the villagers of the area oppose them.

World War II. The anti fascist youth attracted broad masses of the people on the football fields turning these sport events into manifestations against the occupiers. Such were the matches between the amateur team "Shprefeja" and the fascist teams. Entering the field with the conviction that they will beat the fascist team at all costs, the Albanian players and its supporters turn the sport field into a battlefield.

A comedy known and loved by all, under the interpretation of the most famous actors of the Albanian National Theatre.

Andon, a young violinist, is seriously studying for the admission competition at the Academy of Fine Arts. Cosmai, the father, thinks his son cannot win the competition without a bit of external help. He mobilizes all his friends and relatives so that his son can be sure to win. Muco, the chairman of the commission, is incapable of judging clearly and bored from all the interventions pours the anger on the young talented violinist.

The story of a father, originally from the village, and his city-raised wife, who try to make their daughter a star of classical music. The comedy ironically portrays the inferiority complex that comes from years of isolation.

World War II. Albania is under the Nazi occupation. The Germans capture two young girls and torture them to learn more about the communist movement.
