One day, farmer Henck from Schandeloh appears at her house, who wants to scare his bossy wife with the help of the cards. Wilhelmine Lührs hesitates, but ham, sausage and money finally persuade her to change her mind. She lays out the cards for Mrs. Henck just as her husband had wished. But the fraud is discovered and Mrs. Lührs has to appear before the public prosecutor. But even in court, the ludicrous Wilhelmine manages to use her wisdom to cleverly get out of the affair.

Meta Boldt misses nothing in the house of master butcher Tramsen. She is firmly convinced that unsustainable conditions would prevail and order would be lost if she did not keep the landlord constantly informed of all the news. Unfortunately, Meta Boldt can't find out everything through glimpses through the keyhole and overheard conversations. Slowly but surely, her half-truths get her into trouble with everyone in the house, especially as she can't keep her mouth shut...

A rich farmer learns that the grandfather of a poor farmer owns two houses. He therefore tries to buy his grandfather from the poor farmer. However, the grandfather is even more cunning than the inheritance hunter, and so everything ends well for the poor farmer, whose son then gets the rich farmer's daughter.

Old Grandpa Meiners has to shout every word into his old-fashioned earpiece if he is to understand anything at all. That's why he doesn't notice the false friendliness of his daughter-in-law Bertha at first. All that matters to her is that the old man finally hands over the farm to Jochen, her husband, who is completely under her thumb. Only her niece Elke and the farmhand Bernd can see through the false game. But all attempts to open the old man's eyes fail because Bertha has succeeded in making Elke look bad to the old man. At the last minute, Bernd manages to play another ear trumpet into the old man's hands. Although it resembles the old ear trumpet on the outside, its built-in electric hearing aid makes the old man so perceptive that he not only hears the ticking of the clock, but also finds out what his daughter-in-law is up to.

The Bodendieks' pension is not enough for them. So the couple decide to rent it out. What they hadn't planned, however, was that they let out the good room twice - he to the young Lisa, she to Klaus, who is almost the same age. As business-minded as the Bodendieks have become, they believe they have double the income when they realize that Klaus works nights. But things only get tricky when Klaus is in bed during the day and Lisa's boss comes to visit...

Fisherman Hannes Högermann and his nephew Klaus have "salvaged" seventeen sacks of coffee from a stranded ship at night and stowed them in his cellar. Hermann Achner, who works for a coffee broker, is called in to get rid of the loot at a reasonable price. Instead of Hermann Achner, however, the owner of the ship appears first, who is mistaken by Hannes Högermann for the accomplice and learns to his astonishment about the hidden loot. But because the owner of the "Söbenteihn Sack Kaffee" has his eye on the fisherman's daughter, he puts on a good face and lets the beach bailiff believe that the coffee has been properly recovered, so that Hannes Högermann is at least left with the salvage wages. But he has to pay a penalty...

Hamburg Transit was a German crime television series that first aired in 1970. It ran for 52 episodes over four series until 1974. It depicts the officers of the Hamburg CID. It was a successor to the show Polizeifunk ruft which ran between 1966 and 1970.
