As she and her family struggle to rebuild their lives, Gabriela falls in love with her childhood friend, Gorka Charachaga. Their romance is threatened by Santa, an ambitious young woman determined to separate them, leading to a story of love, sacrifice, and perseverance in the face of adversity.
