He starts a long journey of two years which takes him through all the regions of the country. He observes agriculture, industry, mining, retail and gets to know the many ways in which his compatriots earn their living.

A man returns to a hacienda, lost in time and history, where, as a child or teenager, in his budding career as a writer, he left a typewriter stored away as a symbolic object. He goes to find it and unearth it. A return to the lost childhood in which his first creative impulses took root.
