Gypsy Basil has fallen in love with beautiful Galya. He has forgotten his nomadic life, his own mother and gypsy girl Aza; he decides to stay in village with Galya. She has left a blacksmith Philip. She doesn't listen to her father, and gets married with Basil. But it will take time for Basil to miss the camp. And he apologizes to Aza and his mother.

A meeting with a girl, who was a secretary of the "new Ukrainians", leads the hero to companies involved in illegal business. As a result, he is caught between the mafia, the police and hired assassins.

The hero of the film, police captain Anatoly Lensky, is an adventurer who is characterized by nobility, a sense of honor and intrigue. Together with other characters goes to the "Bay of death" in search of hidden treasures there. All heroes movie must to meet in one place. There they will converge, but not all come back…

In the XIth century Kyivan Rus' (Ukraine-Rus') reached its zenith under the reign of Yaroslav. He established enduring ties with many of the ruling European dynasties, strengthened the borders of Rus' and tried to free it from the influence of the Byzantine Empire. Foreign intelligence agent Mirsayid, captured by Soviet border guards, is sentenced by a court to a maximum security prison. He manages to conceal the location of the cache where the map is stored. Soon, new agents, Loinab and Guliam, successfully cross the border. Their goal is simple: to visit Mirsayid in the colony, find out the location of the cache, and retrieve the hidden map. The Chekists give them complete freedom of action for the time being.

Bolsheviks aim to set their rules on the lands of the Western Ukraine repeatedly occupied by them. UPA - the partisan army - resists their policy. The civilian population becomes a hostage of this war "without rules", and above all – relatives of the insurgents. Invaders and their allies cruelly torture the Ukrainian people, but the struggle continues. Irritated, "bolshevists" start evicting people to Siberia. UPA tries to prevent this action, but the forces are not equal. Insurgents can only take revenge and punish the executioners.

Another shipment of drugs arrives in Ukraine from Istanbul in a cargo of expensive carpets. The drug traffickers are closely followed by Interpol officers, whose goal is to uncover the entire chain of the criminal business. But it soon turns out that the criminals have access to the police information. A police officer is involved in the drug trade...
