Directed by the Singaporean composer Dick Lee himself, this biopic of his youth, covers three years of his life, from his early years as a teenage singer-songwriter up to the release of his debut album in 1947.

Jiaming, a free spirited teenager, has never taken school seriously. However, he is forced to confront his future when he flunks his O level exams and drops out of school. While deciding his future, Jiaming decides to help out at his parents music pub, Meng Chuan. Jiaming's buddies Caogen, Haoban and Xiaopang pass their exams and move on to Junior College. But they are caught renting porn magazines by the principal and are suspended for a month. During this month, the boys join a local music competition, have a taste of first love, and work hard to bring business back to the struggling Meng Chuan. In this coming-of-age tale, Jiaming and gang realise the harsh realities of the real word. In growing up, choosing to follow your heart is never easy in the face of societal expectations.

A Song to Remember is a MediaCorp Channel 8 historical-cum-musical drama which is set in the 1930s to 1940s in early Singapore before World War II. It debuted on Channel 8 on 22 November 2011 and was telecast every weekday night at 9.00 pm. This drama stars Qi Yuwu and Joanne Peh who had paired up thrice after The Little Nyonya and C.L.I.F., and Eelyn Kok, Julie Tan and Desmond Tan. Chen Hanwei plays a villain in this drama while Eelyn Kok is also another antagonist. Viewers can catch episodes on xinmsn catchup from 23 November 2011. It was reported that the scriptwriter Ang Ee Tee took several years to complete the script of this drama. Despite large amounts of resources and money pumped in for the production and promotion of this serial, the drama was not well received by the audience when it was broadcast. Many perceived the show to be boring and slow-paced, and the acting skills of some of the main cast members were heavily criticised.

A Tale of 2 Cities is a Singaporean Chinese drama which a co-produced by Media Prima Berhad and MediaCorp TV it was telecasted on Singapore's free-to-air terrestrial television channel form MediaCorp TV Channel 8. Live it made its debut on 14 February to 11 March 2011. This drama serial consists of 21-episodes and was screened on every weekday nightlife at 21:00 until 22:00 SST and rerun it made from 19 to 30 December 2011 at every weekday nightlife at 21:00 until 22:00 SST. It was telecasted on Malaysia's free-to-air terrestrial television channel form NTV7 channel it was telecasted on Singapore's free-to-air terrestrial television channel form MediaCorp TV Channel 8. This drama has four main couples, namely, Rui En with Pierre Png, Joanne Peh with Zhang Yao Dong, Julie Tan with Zhang Zhenhuan and Kate Pang with Yao Wen Long. No Limits is a Singaporean Chinese drama series broadcast in 2010 to celebrate the inaugural Summer Youth Olympics. It was aired on weekdays in the 9pm time slot.

The Dream Makers is a 30-episode drama serial that airs on MediaCorp Channel 8 from 24 June 2013, to 2 August 2013. It features Zoe Tay, Rui En, Jeanette Aw, Chen Liping, Qi Yuwu and Chen Hanwei in the main cast and is also the first such series to commemorate 50 years of local television.
