In Nadodimannan, Padmanabhan plays a village youth who does not have a particular inclination towards any political party and joins any protest being held. He earns a living by participating in demonstrations for various political parties. He then reaches the city where he is strung to the upper levels of society and gets elected as the Mayor. His conflicts and attempts to cleanse the city form the rest of the story

"Ottamandaram" portrays a small family which consists of a fifteen year old Kala, her sister Neela and Neela’s husband Bharathan. Married for a long time, Neela and Bharathan still have no kids. Neela, driven by the ambition to raise a child, forcefully marries her sister off to Bharathan. Kala becomes pregnant but the things take a turn for the worse when Bharathan dies in an accident. Kala’s subsequent struggle to raise the child forms the core of the film. Based on a real story, Ottamandaram is scripted by renowned media person Ajay Muthana.

A retired judge faces difficulty keeping his daughter safe from a convict he imprisoned. Later, when he gets murdered, a man with visual impairment who was loyal to him tries to defend his daughter.

The police takes them to the station and sets up a register marriage at the station. Mukesh and Shobhana are forced to go along with the setup to avoid more trouble. After they leave the station Shobhana disappears , and Mukesh tries looking for her. How they meet again through fate makes up rest of the story.
