Mr. Conradie is a conventional music teacher who lives for his singing group, Die Bekfluitjies. Die Bekfluitjies represent the outcasts of their sports-crazy school. Circumstances force them to fight for what they believe in - their music - because when they sing, life just makes more sense!

Jay van Niekerk is a young, attractive and career driven comic book illustrator. The story revolves around Madelaine, a charming farm girl and school photographer from Dewetsdorp. Her life takes an unexpected turn when her car breaks down in Gauteng, leading to a chance encounter with a handsome stranger.

Bennie, a baker, is finding life hard after his wife's passing. At one moment, he mistakenly poisons Brandi, his dog, with alcohol after a night of drinking. After rushing her to the vet, it was suggested that he hires a dog sitter for assistance. Lesinda is a dog sitter by day and a sex worker by night. She bonds well with Bennie and Brandi and ends up being in bed with Bennie who then flares up after Lesinda discloses her other occupation. He desperately tries to get back in contact with her, but she ignores his calls. He manages to set up a meeting with her, under false pretenses, but she rejects him again. He sticks around and saves her from a business meeting gone wrong and eventually ends up being in business with her.

A South African Afrikaans soap opera. It is set in and around the fictional private hospital, Binneland Kliniek, in Pretoria, and the storyline follows the trials, trauma and tribulations of the staff and patients of the hospital.
