# The Story of Mawar The story tells of Mawar, an orphan raised by her grandfather, Tokya. Mawar successfully receives an offer to continue her studies at university, but she cannot do so due to financial hardship. Furthermore, Mawar does not receive support from her family. Only Tokya supports her, but what can he do when Tokya is already old and sick. Mawar achieves 10As in her SPM and is offered a place at university. Her grandfather, who has cared for Mawar since childhood, desperately wants to see her continue her education. However, financial constraints have made this impossible. Mawar has no one to turn to because her parents are no longer alive. Tokya supports his life by working as an assistant at Abang Kamal's grocery store. Tokya's children—Senah, Nah, and Husin—show no sympathy or affection toward Mawar. Meanwhile, in Kuala Lumpur, Puan Hafifa's family, who has three children, is looking for a maid. Tokya's illness worsens.

An arranged marriage that Tengku Ismahanim's family attempts to set up with an unknown young man named Danial prompts her to disguise herself as a housemaid. Danial is not the first man who has caused Tengku Ismahanim, or Is, to disguise herself as a housemaid. Is's disguise is to investigate the background and true character of the potential husbands proposed by her father, Tengku Khalil, but none of the candidates have succeeded in winning Is's heart until Is disguises herself as the housemaid of Tuan Danial's household. Unlike the men before him, although he appears somewhat arrogant and stern, Is is attracted to Tuan Danial because he does not rely too heavily on his housemaid. Various amusing incidents occur when Is disguises herself as Tuan Danial's housemaid because Is constantly disobeys his orders and she genuinely does not know how to work as a housemaid. However, gradually Tuan Danial begins to soften and becomes attracted to Is's clumsy but still endearing nature.

The movie is inspired by the famous Malaysian urban legend about a mysterious yellow-coloured Volkswagen seen on Karak highway. According to legend, when you see the car on the highway, do not overtake it as it will keep appearing in front of you, and what's worse, no driver seems to be driving the car.

REMY is a young man in his 20s who is handsome and funny, who is fond of car racing and has a loving family and friends. But has a very strange problem which is that he is afraid of ghosts. His fear of ghosts is so critical, that he cannot go out at night. He also often sleeps with his mother and father because he is too afraid of ghosts. The story begins when REMY meets MAYA one day at a car autoshow and REMY falls in love at first sight. MAYA and BUDI already know each other, REMY asks for Budi's help to introduce Maya to him. Finally with the help of BUDI, REMY managed to meet MAYA. BUDI had to feel REMY's problems from Maya because REMY was afraid to go out at night, which caused problems for REMY who was embarrassed to tell MAYA about his problems.

Sapura is a lawyer who is in love with an actor named Eddie. Sapura feels threatened when Eddie is always the subject of gossip with Maya, an actress. Sapura`s siblings do not approve of her relationship with him. Eddie makes a mistake whilst singing Sapura`s birthday song which upsets her but her siblings use this opportunity to break them apart.

After a long relationship, Zariman finally proposes to Arissa to be his wife and begins wedding planning. Arissa is torn in a dilemma, afraid that after she marries and moves away, Suraya will not be able to take care of their grandmother (Saleha) properly. Meanwhile, Rafael is caught in a marital crisis when he suspects Diana is cheating on him. Diana finally confesses that she cheated and asks Rafael to let her go. Arissa and Zariman's wedding is destroyed when Rafael hits Zariman while Rafael is chasing his wife Diana who is trying to escape with their daughter Mimi. Zariman dies in the accident, and Arissa suffers severe depression. Zaki takes care of Arissa and the welfare of Arissa's family, secretly still harboring feelings for Arissa. Arissa accepts Zaki's proposal, although she is still anxious and knows her heart still belongs to Zariman. Rafael, who wants to come clean, accidentally falls in love with Arissa. The arrival of Jasmine, a new nurse who is transferred to the psychiatric hospital, raises questions for Rania because it is under the direction of Dr Kamil, Rania's own husband.
