Every family has its own challenges. Gao Zhi Tian(46) is going through a divorce with his wife Luo Si Fen(43) and also struggling with his business operating a convenience store. As the Lunar New Year approaches, both insist on spending the holiday with their respective parents. They decide to take his mother and her father and their only son on a trip up a mountain resort to celebrate the new year together one last time, while concealing their divorce plans to not upset the parents. However, chaos ensues when Tian's mother finds out about the impending divorce leading to a terrible accident. A mysterious figure suddenly appears claiming to be Cat God and offered Tian a chance to alter history through embarking on an absurd fantasy journey back in time. Can Tian resolve the conflicts on this journey and bring everyone together?

Starting as a story of a bullied young female factory worker, the film amps up its frightening tropes as it gradually escalates into a feverish nightmare. An evil boss, an abusive father, a sibling’s mysterious death, creepy dolls, ghost children, and blood-chillingly violent setpieces all come together both viscerally and metaphorically for this brooding tale of repression and the dark side of human nature.

Told from Nin’s perspective, Show Me Your Love subtly reveals how the mother and son had been estranged by their years of miscommunication before Nin moved to Hong Kong to go to university. As the pair patch up their differences for a poignant closure, the film retains its composure with believable performances by its leads.

After graduating from college, Zhen has to continue staying with her single father Wu because of their poor financial situation. She then works with her best friend Zitomira and her uncle Jin Shui to create an image of a pretty rich girl online, successfully turning herself into a popular influencer, which generates several endorsements and a good income. In contrast to her reality, her online persona lives a good life and she has to keep up this image on social media in order to continue making money from the Internet. One day, she meets and falls in love with Nat, a Thai tourist who she later learns is from a rich family. As their romance becomes popular online, she continues "acting rich", even though her father detests her hypocritical image. But when Nat plans to propose, Wu has no choice but to act like a rich man too for the sake of his daughter's happiness.

The Journey is a cross-continental story that explores the idea of culture, not just as tradition but as an expression of love. When Bee (Yew) returns to Malaysia for the first time in a decade - she introduces her conservative father Uncle Chuan (Lee) to her happy-go-lucky British fiancé, Benji (Pfeiffer). With Benji's lack of cultural understanding and comprehension of Chinese traditions, Chuan opposes their marriage. Unexpected circumstances ensue, and Chuan reluctantly submits to their union, on the condition that their wedding adheres to Chinese tradition. Part of that tradition is that Chuan must invite all of his childhood friends personally. So the quintessential odd couple, Benji and Chuan, embark on a cross country adventure to deliver the invitations. Despite language barriers and initial hesitation from both parties, the two men come to realize that their priorities are essentially one and the same.

On the way, they also faced lots of problems and challenges. In the end, they intruded a local aboriginal village, and almost ruin the entire ‘Cloud Sea’ tour, and the newly built relationship among Siew's family. Can Siew’s family unite and solve the problem together, and succeeded in saving the ‘Cloud Sea’ tour? Can they help those strangers they met to released themselves, and lead them toward good endings? Most importantly, could this trip help Siew's lifeless family to regain happiness?

Young Chef Huang (Namewee) struggles to get his restaurant business going because he cannot adapt to the “localised’ cooking his patrons are looking for. However, despite his unpopular cuisine, he is well-known as Hero Huang in the local neighbourhood where he carries out good deeds by helping the community – that is, until he met Xiao K (Karen Kong) who gets him in deep trouble. So as to get his life and the restaurant business back on track, Chef Huang must now seek help from a mysterious hawker stall lady (Adibah Noor), who summons him to embark on the extraordinary journey. He is to meet many ‘local heroes’ who will help him rediscover his roots and the hidden message of ‘Nasi Lemak’.
