Her husband, Mr. Cameron (Wyndham Standing), is then accused of the murder of her lover, Ronnie Sears (Vernon Steele). The resolution reveals the culprit to be Blake, who confesses before falling to his death.

After defending a mine in Mexico against outlaws Hugh Kenyon is discharged by his employer, who has been convinced by another that Hugh is dishonest. Unable to find work Hugh in desperation goes to the home of his former boss forcing his way at gunpoint. Confronted the mine owner realizes Hugh’s innate honesty discharging the man who falsely accused Hugh who gets his job back.

Tarzan and Jane are traveling to Paris to help his old friend Countess de Coude, who is being threatened by her brother, Nikolas Rokoff. Rokoff has Tarzan tossed overboard. He survives, comes ashore in North Africa, and goes to Paris to search for Jane. In Paris, Tarzan reunites with his old friend Paul D'Arnot, who informs him that Jane was taken to Africa. Tarzan returns just in time to save Jane from a lion attack, and soon defeats Rokoff and his henchmen.

While in Spain Alan Randolph falls for famed singer Rosita Mendez, but when he goes back to Louisiana, he returns to his fiancée Violet Beaton. On an American tour Rosita discovers Alan has married Violet. Consumed with jealousy she threatens to kill him with a revolver and in the scuffle is wounded. Full of vengeance Rosita has him jailed for five years. Suddenly contrite she then outlines a plan of escape to Alan, but he refuses until destiny takes a hand.

Young sailor Edmond Dantès is wrongfully imprisoned, escapes, finds treasure, and reinvents himself as the wealthy Count of Monte Cristo to exact revenge on those who betrayed him.

Interrupted during a robbery, thief Lady Raffles hides in an adjacent mansion and is mistaken for a maid during a party thrown by Warren Blake, who plans to present his mother with a diamond necklace. Also in attendance are Lillian and Dick, two jewel thieves who recognize Lady Raffles and fear that she is there to rob Warren as well. But sparks fly between Warren and Lady Raffles, despite Dick and Lillian's attempts at sabotage.

At a hotel in the middle of the Sahara, an old man and his daughter try to keep the location of a hidden treasure from a collection of thieves and criminals staying at the hotel who are determined to get it. A suave gentleman thief arrives at the hotel one day with his own plan to get the loot, but complications ensue when he begins to fall for the daughter.

Emily Cottrell, one of the most respected members of a large gang of crooks headed by Fraser Grimstead, is caught while robbing the home of wealthy David Parrish. Emily accepts David's offer of a home and a chance to go straight, but Grimstead is unwilling to lose her, and he insists that she help him steal the famous diamond collar, The Tower of Jewels, which is in David's possession. When Emily refuses, Grimstead threatens to expose her past to Wayne Parrish, her benefactor's son with whom she is in love. Grimstead and the gang surround the Parrish home, then Wayne's cousin removes the jewel case to throw suspicion on her rival for Wayne's affections. Emily's innocence is established later, and her reputation is further cleared by Grimstead, who is shot by the police. With his dying breath, Grimstead describes Emily's gentle birth and states that she is fit to marry Wayne.
