The year is 1989 and Stefan works as a bus driver between Norrland and Murmansk. With him on the journeys is the Russian interpreter Jana which he has fallen in love with. He is prepared to do everything to win her love, but her mother sets an ultimatum - get a safe front door. Stefan has competition from a Russian and soon the contest is on, "who can give the mother the best door".

Lisas Sense depicts her perspective towards her own body that sways from curse to temple. The first episode, adapted from the novel The Troubled Man, was released in cinemas in January 2013.

The series consists of two seasons, with a total of 25 half-hour episodes. Season 1 aired from 21 January 2007 to 15 April 2007 while season 2 aired from 27 September 2009 to 20 December 2009. Starring Mikael Tornving and Henrik Hjelt. The first episode was seen by over 2.36 million viewers.
