El Chagra is a short film that is constructed with two main concepts. The Alzheimer's disease and the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Creating an analogy between the two, we assemble a cinematographic journey through Don Genaros disturbed mind. Recollecting, relapsing and reviving his last memories we try to give the audience a hint of the whole background, and story about his life by creating the divergent freedom, a glimpse of interpretation of the world as the main character sees it.

Isidora, an old woman, discovers that her mind is quickly deteriorating. At an apparently relaxed dinner table, she will desperately try to hide her state from her daughter, a demanding woman who awaits any sign of senility in order to take way everything she has.

Muñeca wanders through Santiago streets with his comrades, All them tired from work and unhappiness, go in the search of a party or just a reason to celebrate.Little by little things began to unveil the experiences and the different points of view that each one has about work, the city and life ...

A beautiful woman turns to prostitution. Blaquito is thirty years old and lives with his mother in El Matal, a small fishing village on the coast of Ecuador. One day, the beach turns up filled with cocaine packets. Fifteen years ago Pablo, Andres, Juan and Carolina were together for the last time. The days when their lives revolved around the old hideout were they grew up as teenagers are now over. It was during 1987 when the adventure that made them fell free ended abruptly. Two seconds changed everything forever. A story that starts as an apparently normal reunion of old friends evolves into the pursuit to rebuild their lives with the pieces of others that were broken.

A world like ours, limited by language.
