Golden Dream is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by Rede Globo. It ran from September 27, 1993 to May 14, 1994. It was written by Marcílio Moraes and directed by Reynaldo Boury, with co-direction by Roberto Naar. The action takes place in the city of Curitiba. It was also broadcast in Portugal.

Os Ricos Também Choram is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT and originally broadcast from July 18, 2005, to January 14, 2006. It is a Brazilian adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Los ricos también lloran (1979), based on the original story by Inés Rodena. Adapted by Gustavo Reiz and Aimar Labaki, with collaboration from Marcos Lazarini, the telenovela stars Thaís Fersoza, Márcio Kieling, Ludmila Dayer, Mika Lins, Françoise Forton, and Jonas Bloch. The story follows Mariana, a young woman raised on a farm without knowing she is the illegitimate daughter and rightful heir of the late Colonel Evaristo Martins. After being driven away from her home, she moves to the town of Ouro Verde, where she falls in love with Alberto Domingues. As she uncovers the truth about her origins, Mariana must face greed, family rivalries, betrayal, and powerful enemies determined to steal her inheritance. The story's theme is spiritualism, viewed through the lens of past-life regression. Floriano Ferraz is a skeptical sculptor tormented by severe shoulder pain and visions of a woman dying at his feet. 'Cuca Legal' tells the story of Mário Barroso, a single aviator involved with three women at the same time: Virgínia, Irene, and Fátima. Virgínia is a wealthy businesswoman obsessed with the direction of her late father's business; Irene is a middle-class young woman who gives private piano lessons; and Fátima is a poor widow.
