A common day in the actual Italy, narrated by the different stories of seven different people, it's the starting point for an overview to the 21st century's italian society, among corrupt politicians, unfaithful husbands, hardcore soccer fans and dishonest businessmen.

Eight episodes vaguely inspired to real events. The "fil rouge" is the relationship between the Italians and sex in the first years of 2000s. From prostitution to virtual sex all the categories are represented in a funny way that anyway tries to investigate this kind of reality.

"Nicola, where the sun rises" - Tells the true story of the transfer, from Myra (today Demre in Turkey ) to Bari , of the relics of St. Nicholas. 62 sailors arrive in Lycia aboard 3 sailing ships to steal the bones of the saint. They return to Bari on 8 May 1087 and announce they want to build a new basilica dedicated to St. Nicholas.

Riccardo, a southern man of solid principles and good feelings, decides to go and visit his daughter Aurora, who has been living in Barcelona for some time. There, however, a surprise awaits him: Aurora has married a woman. Indignant, Riccardo hastily returns to Italy, determined never to see her again. But perhaps destiny has decided otherwise.
