# Mat Rukun The story follows Roslan and Khatijah who are worried because despite being 21 years old, Mamat's spoiled behavior still hasn't changed. Mamat also enjoys spending time on frivolous activities with his friends. At their wit's end, Roslan and Khatijah ask their friends for advice. Many offer various methods and ways, some of which are even illogical, until one of their friends suggests that Mamat should get married. The story of Viki (Annie Arifin) who goes to Kampung Honi but faces a journey full of suspicion. Viki met Ria (Keena) and they became close friends until they opened a lingerie boutique called Vik2Ria Secret.

The year 1990, a road junction in a village named Kampung Simpang-Simpang is said to be haunted. The appearance of a guardian spirit known as the Penunggu Simpang. This Penunggu Simpang resembles a very beautiful woman with hair that reaches down to the ground. Her smile causes anyone who encounters her to become very frightened. Tok Ketua finishes telling a group of mischievous children who are riding their bikes 'lajak' style. Tok Ketua informs them that at this junction there is a guardian spirit. Whoever causes trouble will be bothered by the Penunggu Simpang. The mischievous children promise not to ride their bikes lajak style at that junction anymore. SUB PLOT – Tok Ketua has a son named Cikgu Norman. Norman is in love with Deana, the daughter of Hj Khair, a Resort Project Manager. Tok Ketua, however, does not like Deana because Deana once accidentally cursed Tok Ketua when Tok Ketua was hit by Deana's car. At that time, Deana had not yet met Cikgu Norman.

Sean Lee, a young Chinese man, attempts to fast throughout Ramadan this time. Two rival gangs, one lead by Taiko Raja(S.Gana) and another lead by Ah Meng (Echo Quah), are always at odds with each other. One day, an incident occurs in the village where Sulaiman (Ropie) is the respected leader of the local community. Sulaiman finds out about it and brings Raja and Ah Meng together. There on, they become good friends until there is a conflict due to developers, land issues, and the tricks of their gang members. Sulaiman proposes a non violent solution to Raja and Ah Meng, this is when hilarity ensues.

Directed by Mawi, this movie is a continuation of the telemovie “Rock Sangkut”. It follows the adventures of three young village-dwellers as they chase their dreams of becoming singers. There are various challenges that the three men have to face in making their dreams come true.
