Profesor Wilczur is a 1938 Polish romantic drama film directed by Michał Waszyński. It is based on the novel by Tadeusz Dolega-Mostowicz.

In the beginning of the 20th century, Polish students are fully aware that the education system is not one in which the truth is taught, but rather one their government wants them to learn. A student contradicts his professor's stance that Suworow was one of Poland's greatest leaders. The argument between the two eventually leads to a wide strike.

Stefcia Rudecka starts working as a governess in an aristocratic house. Waldemar, the young heir, falls in love with her but his well-off family is not eager to accept the woman he loves.

Living only with her elderly father, Krystyna runs the household and works as a modest clerk. However, her fate takes a turn. The girl gets a job at a company, and one of the clients, Jan Merlecki, wins her heart. Things quickly become complicated, though. An anonymous phone call to her beloved's parents, followed by their intervention to prevent the young couple from marrying, prompts Krystyna to make a dramatic decision.

Franciszek Brodniewicz reprises the role of Duke Waldermar Michorowski he played in the 1936 "Tredowata." Here, he leaves his recluse existence to help rescue the victims of a great fire, and suffers severe injuries. In his delirious state, he believes he is being taken care of by his dead wife, and (amara Wiszniewska, who is serving as his nurse, thinks his statements of love are meant for her. He is subsequently forced to disillusion the girl when he becomes normal, and she drifts into a casual love affair, but later falls in love with the Duke's nephew, (Wojciech Wojtecki.) The Duke later takes his nephew's place in a duel with the rejected suitor.

1863. Bloody battles are raging. A squadron of dragoons is pursuing an insurgent. It is the wounded Prince Odrowąż. With his last ounce of strength, he makes his way to the home of the administrator Brynicki. Mija Brynicka, the steward's daughter, risks her own life and compromises her honor to hide him. Odrowąż finds caring attention and slowly recovers. Love blossoms between Mija and Odrowąż. Lost in ecstasy, they dream of a liberated homeland and marriage. Unfortunately, the prince's mother's selfishness stands in the way of their love, as she does not allow this misalliance. She takes her son away, leaving Mija in boundless despair.

A middle-aged woman takes a young lover, and leaves her husband and family to live with him. Her lover tires of her, and tosses her out and she wanders around pawning her jewelry in order to live. She makes a last visit to her family, planning suicide after she sees them.

A renowned surgeon, abandoned by his wife and daughter, gets robbed and loses his memory. Wandering around the countryside, he becomes a village healer and performs operations.

Eastern Borderlands, 1919. The Bolsheviks, taking part in the Polish-Russian war, appear at the Granowski manor house. It's a story based on the war of 1920, which ended with the Battle of Warsaw going down in history as the "Miracle on the Vistula". The film was commissioned by the Propaganda Department of the Ministry of Military Affairs and has survived only in fragments (just 53 minutes out of the 2-hour-long film).

The life story of Franciszek Murka, a municipal official. He is dismissed from his job as a result of unfounded slander about his alleged left-wing political past. After losing his government job, he assumes the identity of a foreigner named Franz Klamm and makes a career for himself in the aristocratic salons of Warsaw as a master of the occult.

War is raging in Poland, and nothing is certain. The Germans are retreating, and Soviet troops are taking their place. In these turbulent times, feelings develop between Alfred Rupiejko and Bronka Wereszczyńska. The girl and her brothers hide the Florian bell from confiscation. The siblings are betrayed, but they decide not to give up without a fight.

Ryszard Malewicz, a young inventor, is out of work. He had been waiting for months for a response from the ministry to which he had sent plans for his invention, an explosive of extraordinary power. Desperate Ryszard is comforted by his mother and his fiancée Maria.

The film presents the problem of women forced into prostitution abroad. Marysia Żurkówna is looking for a better life, she believes that when she leaves, she will go to a better world. A terrible disappointment awaits her. The "kind" people who organized her departure have prepared a cruel surprise for her - she is to become a prostitute. What can a lonely girl in a foreign country do in such a situation?

First narrative polish film. The janitor sweeps the pavement in front of the tenement house. A carriage comes with a rather solidly inserted young man. He is well-dressed but has lost all his strength. Merry Fellow needs help.

Professor Turwid is conducting research on a vaccine to combat encephalitis. The medical community is skeptical about this. Suspecting his wife of having an affair with a younger colleague, Count Łański, he fakes his own death. The only person who knows his secret is his servant Feliks. Over the next few years, he passes on information about the situation of his wife and daughter. The professor knows that his suspicions were completely unfounded and that his wife devoted herself entirely to raising their child. After many years, he returns to Warsaw, where he starts working at a clinic and, together with Jerzy, his daughter's future fiancé, completes work on the serum. There is a chance to return to his family, but it may already be too late.

One of the two oldest known films made in Poland, with the other being The Return of a Merry Fellow, also made in 1902.
