One day in the life of Soad, who lives with her mother and bed-ridden father on the outskirts of Cairo.

A strained relationship between a married couple ends in divorce, but the husband faces a severe financial crisis that compels him to seek help from his ex-wife to save him from prison. Together, they embark on a journey full of challenges and funny situations, during which they discover their true feelings for each other.

Tamara, with a child from a marriage that did not last long, is from an impoverished aristocratic family. To save her family from bankruptcy, Tamara is to marry Hassan Al-Dabbah, owner of one of the largest meat empires in the Middle East. Despite his wealth, Hassan comes from a nouveau riche family. Shortly before the wedding, the families spend a week together to oversee the wedding preparations. The differences between the families becomes apparent, and behind the fake smiles, all parties supervise the final wedding details. These details are overseen by Omar, Tamara's old love, who has created a rock sculpture to give a unique character to the wedding. This sculpture will become the source of several disputes during the wedding.

The events of the film revolve in one day around Sultan, a veteran criminal who was released from prison. But, he is surprised by the appearance of his two sons which he knew nothing while beings forced to escape with them amid a gang pursuing him.

He is smart, but is also a compulsive liar with vision problems and wears eyeglasses that don't quite remedy his weakened eyesight. To gain the respect of his fellow classmates, he ventures inside a haunted house right in front of the school, one that all the kids are afraid to enter. Inside, he finds a solitary old man who's hiding from the world. A friendship and apprenticeship are born between the boy and the old man, initiating a journey of self-discovery that lies at the very heart of this light-hearted drama.

After the death of their father, Galal, the Abu El Fadl family's peaceful life collapses. The eldest son, Tarek, finds himself responsible for everything, while Hegazy returns from Cairo to discover that dealing with his patients is much easier than dealing with his own family. Matters become further complicated with the appearance of the mysterious man, Samir Italia, who demands a large sum of money from the family. Between the father's debts and suspicious artifacts, the brothers' attempts at reconciliation turn into a series of disasters that only make matters worse.
