Born in the early 20th century, herbalist Jan Mikolasek became rich and famous after curing countless diseases with unorthodox means. A true emblem of Czechoslovakia before World War II, the healer became even more appreciated during the Nazi occupation and the communist regime. Each regime appreciates his skill and protects him. But how much will it cost him to maintain his status in a new political change?

Czechoslovakia, 1941. As the war continues, Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich arrives in Nazi-occupied Prague and establishes a regime of terror that will force freedom fighters to act. But the price to pay will be too high.

The young couple Uli and Vanilla want to split up, but lust and money get in their way.

In the house of Líba and Arnošt, preparations for the christening are in full swing, which are to take place exactly according to Líba's detailed plan - including choosing the child's name. As the day of the christening approaches, secrets surface, identities become clear, and family relationships are put to the test.

Heroes to the British, who helped decide the outcome of the war, they were tried for treason in our country after the war... The Ballad of a Pilot takes place in late summer 1945 and early 1946, a time of euphoria over the newly acquired peace, when the network of interpersonal relationships, shattered by the war, began to reform. At first, it was thought that the First Republic democracy would take over the government, but the fate of Czechoslovakia turned out differently.

As punishment, the devil Matěj must grant the wishes of a poor young man named Ondra until he says he is completely happy. But can such happiness even be achieved? Hell has its doubts about this, and it seems that they are justified, as the other devils are well entertained by Matěj's helplessness. After fulfilling ordinary wishes, when Ondra finally warms up, eats well, and gets dressed, more serious complications arise. Ondra falls in love with Rézinka, a countess from the castle, and to make matters worse, the devil Matěj takes a liking to the cook Marjánka.

Back in 1950s, as the communist regime escalates, a group of Czech young people starts a resistance movement in an underground jazz club.

An comedy set in 1960s Helsinki. The story revolves around Elsa, a resolute hatmaker who is in complete control of her life. Besides running her shop, she sometimes doubles as a fortune teller. When Jan, a Czechoslovakian jazz musician and Elsa's old lover comes to town to perform at a "peace and friendship festival", her well-organised life is jolted out of balance.

They wander through the Christmas tree overcoming obstacles, and with the help of other distinctive decorations they eventually reach Eva who is being held captive by the evil Balls brothers.

A modern fairy tale with an adventure story takes the viewer to an exotic island where lives a king who has twelve daughters. The youngest of them is courted by the dangerous pirate Za Bié Ocradé and the orphan George, who has been entrusted with this task by his master Prince Honorad. George falls in love with the beautiful princess and must struggle with his conscience to decide whether he prefers love or obedience.

Drug dealer Šárlí ended up with a knife in his liver during a drunken brawl as a group of teenagers left a pub late at night. Commissioner Vašátko, who is already enjoying his retirement, is drawn into the investigation by the young man's grandmother, Forejtová, an old acquaintance of his late wife. It turns out that Vašátko's friend, the painter Horác, knows another member of the group, 16-year-old Zbyněk, whom he taught painting some time ago. Zbyněk is struggling with his authoritarian and precise father, the businessman Bouzek, and is clearly hiding something. Vašátko and Horác eventually uncover the background to the murder and its perpetrator. But first, they have to understand the titular "bug," as Vašátko calls the detail that doesn't fit in a criminal case. If the detail is not clarified, the case cannot be closed. In this story, the "bug" is a shoe found at the scene of the crime that does not belong to any of the participants in the altercation.

It is the story of Jiri and Jan, two Czech soldiers, battling alongside the allied forces against the Germans, during World War II in Tobruk, Libya. Jiri Pospichal, eighteen years old, signs up as a volunteer in the Czechoslovak army. His naive ideas about heroism are rawly confronted with the hell of the African desert, complicated relationships in his unit and the ubiquitous threat of death.

The story of a barely grown man who lives as a fresh postulant before vows in a community of monks. Based on the popular television series Okresní přebor. As the title suggests, the film features the legendary figure of licensed coach Josef Hnátek. Since this man appeared in the series only as ashes scattered on the Houslice football field, the filmmakers decided to introduce him to viewers in his living form. The story of the feature film is set during his lifetime and explores the dilemma of a man for whom football is his whole life. Even more than life itself. The title role of the Houslice personality will be played by theater director, artistic director of Prague's Dejvické Theater, and occasional actor Miroslav Krobot.

Ulice is a Czech soap opera produced and broadcast by Nova. In the Czech language Ulice means street. Kriminálka Anděl is a Czech crime drama television series which premiered on TV Nova in 2008. Third season was shooting since April 2010 and broadcast since March 21, 2011. This TV series has an origin in the Slovak crime series Mesto tieňov.

Based on real characters and events, this haunting drama focuses on the personal sacrifice of a Prague history student, Jan Palach, who set himself on fire in protest against the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1969. Is it a human murderer, or big beast that escaped?
