The Importance of Tying Your Own Shoes

Alex's high opinion of himself isn't backed up by reality as he is unemployed and having trouble with his girlfriend. When he finally gets a job with the local council/municipality of Hudiksvall his life is about to change. Suddenly Alex finds himself the leader of a local theatre group of people with learning difficulties. Through their work together, Alex comes to appreciate that we all have our own talents which can grow if given the opportunity and support. "The Importance of Tying Your Own Shoes" is based on the work of the Glada Hudik Theatre whose performances have met with success in Sweden and internationally since it was formed in 1996.

Ispärla

Krister is a police officer working on a case before his cancer treatment begins. A boy has disappeared and Krister knows exactly what it is like to lose a child. He also cares for his demented wife at home.

Zero Tolerance

Johan is a two-fisted Gothenburg cop who finds himself in a shoot-out with jewel robbers. After the smoke has cleared, one robber, shot by his accomplice, and an innocent bystander, are dead. Three witnesses, including Helen, identify thug extraordinaire Leo Gaut as being the dead crook's trigger-happy colleague. Gaut soon threatens the three witnesses, and only Johan, the badge-wearing hero, can save them.

Krocken

Two middle-aged couples arrive at Noah's marriage counselor, who runs a country house. The couples have come to get help but it turns out that Noah has planned the meeting to reveal a secret, which will have major consequences.

The year is 1949 and we are back at Matilda and Nils-Erik's farm. Their son Lennart and his wife Rakel are planning to take over the farm after his parents.

They're very unsuccessful, and Ingmar wants to sell the place, but Gustav doesn't. One day the municipality wants to buy their business buildings, but they refuse to tell why until they've bought it. Meanwhile, Ingmar wants to hire a woman that he can fall in love with and Lufsen, a dizzy craftsman, is trying to fix some sewage pipes in the kitchen. Written by J. Rieper
