Susuk is a 2008 Malaysian horror film which was released on August 7, 2008 in Malaysia. The film is directed by Amir Muhammad and Naeim Ghalili. The story concerns about Soraya, who uses the forbidden practice of susuk in order to be famous.

Childhood sweethearts Moonir and Vina are reunited when they return to their hometown of Batu Saura, a small sleepy community on Langkawi Island, where nothing much ever happens. Love once lost is now rekindled.

The films story takes place over the course of one day. Bapak senses that he does not have much time left and so he invites his offspring to have dinner with him the next evening. He want to discuss some family matters concerning their inheritance, a large part of which is his home, a large sprawling house set in an acre of prime real estate located in the centre of Kuala Lumpur. An unexpected visit by two strangers leads Bapak to change his plans and bring the dinner forward to that evening instead.

Master puppeteer, Awang Lah, becomes a uneasy teacher to Awi, a blind, orphaned boy, and Melor, a girl with a nasal problem. Though blind, Awi is adept at memorizing wayang kulit stories. Melor, too, shows great skill in creating the puppets and manipulating them on the screen as Awi recites the stories.

Mastura, who returns from her studies abroad, feels the loss of her good pal, E.J. who has chosen to follow the path of the religious extremist group led by Brother Musa. She decides to pick up voluntary work as her mission to promote good will for society. Halim, who has had experiences working abroad serving the Middle East, supports Mastura’s good intention and encourages her to join ‘Rescaid’, a volunteer organization. In her line of duty in helping the children refugees from Palestine, Mastura falls in love with Kamal, a divorcee who shares the cause she is pursuing. The success of a nation-wide charity concert promoted by Mastura and the team from ‘Rescaid’ becomes the pride of the locals, until one day, tragedy strikes unexpectedly. However, it does not kill Mastura’s determination to protect the fate of the unfortunate.

This illegal syndicate has dealers all over the country and is also related to an international syndicate. At the same time, TVKL tries to reveal the drug activities in the city. The Gerak Khas Unit has to overcome many obstacles in order to wipe out the illegal syndicate. Besides that, there are few conflicts occurring in the Gerak Khas Unit itself. Can they overcome the conflicts and wipe out the illegal syndicate?

During the trouble-plagued making of a movie in production, a spoiled young actress named Ena Manjalara learns the true meaning of friendship, respect and artistic devotion based on her dealings with the idealistic director Malik and the production assistant Daud, whom she initially seduces. Daud is also related to Zai, a former old movie idol who is now destitute and losing her grip on reality.
