A selfish postman and a reclusive toymaker form an unlikely friendship, delivering joy to a cold, dark town that desperately needs it.

Tri-City. The hot summer of '76. The protagonist, a graduate of the Gdansk University of Technology, starts working in a design office. He spends his free time repairing his beloved Jeep, awaiting the arrival of his girlfriend Ola, who is studying abroad. He already has an apartment, he has a job, he has a girlfriend, he has only one thing missing - furniture. And getting them is not at all easy.

Isolated in his austere penthouse overlooking Central Park, obsessive Wall Street data analyst Richard Boca sees ominous patterns. His computer models are behaving erratically, as are the swarms of mosquitos breeding in his apartment, an infestation that attends his psychological meltdown.

On the outskirts of the monastic state stands the small, neglected Bartenstein Castle. Its residents are exceptionally exceptional Teutonic Knights. Their swords are deadly.... For themselves. Not far from the castle, a village of clever craftsmen flourishes, and Polish-Lithuanian partisans prowl the woods. The search for the ancient treasure of the Prussians coincides with an unexpected visit of the Grand Master along with an even less expected guest.

The movie is an attractive comedy of mistakes with large dose of humor and action. At the same time it is a sentimental story about group of friends who grew up in the same town in the 90s, taking their first steps into adulthood together. The story is about boys form Sopot who 20 years ago were a best friends for life. They had a band, they graduated from Hight school together. As a result of a various circumstances the group of friends fell apart and each of the boys went their own way. We meet the characters when they are 40 years old. They live in different cities, have different professions and lives. Theirs everyday life is interrupted by an unexpected visitor - a women who turns out to be the fiancée of the member of the former group. She invites them to a bachelor party - a surprise for her future husband. Despite their doubts the men come to their hometown to learn that old friend is dead.
