In Taipei’s dreamscape, Tao’s incomprehensible love for Shin drives her to create painful memories. Meanwhile, Melih, burdened with self-blame, longs to connect with the perpetually drunk Ping.

Yusuf and his best friend Memo are pupils at a boarding school for Kurdish boys, secluded in the mountains of Eastern Anatolia. When Memo falls mysteriously ill, Yusuf is forced to struggle through the bureaucratic obstacles put up by the school's repressive authorities to try to help his friend. But by the time the adults in charge finally understand the seriousness of Memo's condition and try to get him to the hospital, the school has been buried under a sudden, heavy snowfall. With no way out and now desperate to reach help, teachers and pupils engage in a blame game where grudges, feelings of guilt and hidden secrets emerge, as time ticks mercilessly on and threatens to run out.

A young man leaves his work and his girlfriend behind for a while and leave for Anatolia. After a short while, he found himself in a friendly village in an idyllic and farce mountain village. After a while, he realizes that he will no longer be able to return to the village. In fact, he made an inner journey towards his own past and his true personality. From now on, his view of himself and life will change.

A high school graduate, Yusuf could not pass the university entrance exam. Writing poetry is his greatest passion and some of his poems are being printed in various obscure literary journals. But neither these poems, nor the rapidly falling price of the milk they sell, are being of any benefit to Yusuf and Zehra's lives. When Yusuf finds out about Zehra's secret affair with the town's stationmaster he gets disconcerted. Will he find the way to cope with his anxiety for the unknown future, the rapid change that he is going through and the pain of taking a step into adulthood and leaving his youth behind

Maksut and Şimşek, who work as plumbers, are assigned to repair the plumbing at the bank on New Year's Eve. Their efforts result in them accidentally demolishing the wall of the bank vault, leaving them face to face with the money stored there. Although they believe that this money has been sent by God to save them from poverty, it brings them nothing but trouble.

After completing his studies in France, young Ali gets exiled to an Anatolian town, where he becomes a teacher and begins to question his own beliefs.
