The Earth Day Special is a television special revolving around Earth Day that aired on ABC on April 22, 1990. Sponsored by Time Warner, the special featured an all-star cast addressing concerns about global warming, deforestation, and other environmental ills.

Interviews with Paul McCarty and his family describe the loss of his job in a Paducah, Kentucky power plant in 1953 when his loyalty was questioned; he lost job after job for over twenty years. Interview with Luella Mundel, the object of false accusations based on her unconventional views and actions. Interviews with colleagues, friends, and a historian recreate the dramatic trial which devastated Mundel personally.

This documentary is a fascinating look at the cinematic genius of Alfred Hitchcock. Briefly covering much of his early British works, the film primarily focuses on his American classics, such as "Shadow of a Doubt", "Notorious", "Rear Window", "Vertigo", "Psycho" and "The Birds". The movie also covers his television years and neatly examines the Hitchcock signature touches, from his inevitable brief cameo to his famous MacGuffin.

OUTSIDER tells the story of Maury Ornest–– on track to be a baseball star when his world was derailed by mental illness. His schizophrenia devastated his life and that of his kin. His sister Laura struggled to understand Maury’s destructive behavior and the limits of her help as she fought to keep her beloved family intact. When Maury died at age 58, Laura discovered over 1400 paintings, sketches, and journal writings that revealed his rich, tormented inner world and demonstrated how painting had saved him. OUTSIDER unfolds visually through Maury’s art and through his writings, voiced by comedian Gary Gulman. The film presents a rarely seen, unvarnished view of a family’s painful journey with mental illness and captures an unexpected way they found connection.
