Yamagata Scream

High school seniors Mikayo, Chuko and Kei are forced to join a historical research club to fulfill a graduation requirement. Their teacher, Mr. Kachi, plans a mandatory club trip to a small village called Oshakabe in Yamagata prefecture to study remnants of an ancient clan of warriors called the ochimusha who displayed legendary cowardice in battle. When they arrive, the local villagers hold a special ceremony and construct a "super shrine". As a result, an 800-year seal is broken, unleashing a curse that causes the ochimusha to rise from the grave.

A young department store worker discovers a magical lantern which contains the spirit of Tsuboi, a genie who has just one last chance to help someone on Earth.

This rare Ghibli Comedy is a look into who the people making the films are. Plotlines run from office jokes to Nonaka's first love, bringing together a short feature of random events.

Princess Jellyfish

These wallflowers run a tight, nun-like ship, but their no-men-allowed-not-no-one-not-no-how bubble is unwittingly burst after Tsukimi brings home a rescued sea jelly and a beauty queen... who's actually a guy. When the threat of losing their cozy convent inspires this glamour boy to turn the neurotic entourage into a portrait of success, will Tsukimi take her chance to bloom, or will she end up a hot mess?

The Genealogy of Sake

A document of sake craftspeople known as "Noto Toji" and their skills that have been passed down through generations, set amidst the beautiful landscapes of Noto Peninsula before the recent earthquake. The film unravels the history of sake brewing in Noto—an area that was hit severely by a recent earthquake. It examines the intense work of the life of four masters in sake brewing called "The Four Sake Kings of Noto," including a 80-year-old returning veteran Toji (a sake craftsperson), as well as their disciples, such as the first female Toji to join the Noto Toji Union, and a young Toji with a new working style. The story reveals the depths of sake making today and the difficulties of passing down the artistry through generations.
