It is an adaptation of the Colombian telenovela Las Juanas, created by Bernardo Romero Pereiro. As they build a bond, they face love, betrayal, and long-buried secrets that will change their lives forever.

The telenovela, a production of José Alberto Castro, premiered October 22, 2007 and ended on May 9, 2008 in El Canal de las Estrellas.
