The Courtship of Eddie's Father

The Courtship of Eddie's Father is an American television sitcom based on the 1963 movie of the same name, which was based on the book written by Mark Toby. It tells the story of a widower, Tom Corbett, who is a magazine publisher, and his son, Eddie, who believes his father should marry, and manipulates situations surrounding the women his father is interested in. ABC had acquired the rights to the story; the series debuted on September 17, 1969, and was last broadcast on March 1, 1972. Bixby received an Emmy nomination for the show.

The Golden Palace

The Golden Palace begins where The Golden Girls had ended, in the quartet's now-sold Miami house. With Dorothy Zbornak having married and left in the previous series finale, the three remaining cast members (Dorothy's mother, Sophia Petrillo, Rose Nylund, and Blanche Devereaux) decide to invest in a Miami hotel that is up for sale. The hotel, however, is revealed to have been stripped of all of its personnel in an effort to appear more profitable, leaving only two employees: Roland Wilson, the hotel's manager, and Chuy Castillos, the hotel's chef. This requires the women to perform all the tasks of the hotel's staff.

Created by Denne Bart Petitclerc, the series began with a feature-length pilot on March 24, 1969. It was greenlit for one year and began first run on September 17, 1969. Disillusioned reporter Jim Bronson quits his job and starts wandering the road on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle as a form of soul-searching. He meets various characters; some he helps, others he educates.

I'm a Big Girl Now is an American television sitcom that ran on ABC from October 31, 1980 until May 8, 1981. The series, from Soap creator Susan Harris and producers Paul Junger Witt and Tony Thomas, was created and developed for star Diana Canova, in an attempt to capitalize on her success playing Corinne Tate Flotsky on Soap. Canova starred as a young divorcee and mother who, along with her daughter, moves back in with her recently single father, played by Danny Thomas.

It centered on the first woman President of the United States, portrayed by Academy Award-winning actress Patty Duke.
