When the government announces a ban on beef, and the shutting down of slaughterhouses, it wreaks havoc in the family life of a lower middle class, Muslim kebab seller called Bhutto and sends his world spinning.

After accidentally shooting a 12-year-old boy, a dedicated cop is removed from his position. Forced to take work at a local cinema and beginning to lose his eyesight, he struggles to provide for his son.

Set in Goa, Smoke explores the dark web of drugs, mafia, and power. With the cartels at war, who will survive?
