Ten classmates have disappeared on the evening of 3rd March 2011. The boys were in the family home of one of them, Fabio, for a party. But the next morning, none of them was still there. Gone, vanished into thin air. A few months later their parents receive an anonymous DVD, which contains the shooting of what happened the night of the party. They are not just shootings, but something similar to a real movie about that night. Edited, set to music, post-produced. But who shot that video? And why? The truth seems not to be hidden in the content of that video only.

Couple Andrea and Giulia, an outwardly successful couple, are having problems in the bedroom. When Giulia invites Max, an old friend from high school, to stay in the family home with their teenage son, some new attitudes begin to form.

When Nico returns from overseas to say farewell to his ailing mother, he discovers something monstrous is happening in the small town he once called home. As the list of grizzly murder victims begins to grow and the authorities fear the killer is a beast unlike anything they have ever seen, Nico senses a savage transformation within himself and uncovers the terrifying secret his family could never reveal.

Living among boys is easy, each of them with their own mess, unregimented lifestyle, and unique "method of study." The male universe in which they live, however, is about to be invaded by women. Giorgia is independent and receives little attention from her parents; Francesca is in a doomed relationship with an older professor, while Emma wants to be a famous performer. In this new mixed arrangement house, each character finds their place as they establish a confusing, but fun and tumultuous extended family - a family which none of them has ever truly had.
