This is a metaphorical story about the tragic and mysterious death of the most powerful poet of 1960s, human rights activist, hero of Ukraine Vasyl Stus and his struggle with the Soviet system. The events of the film unfold during the last attempt by the KGB to seduce the poet with a whimsical "freedom".

Poland, 1970. Firmly determined to fight against Soviet tyranny and prevent the destruction of the world, the high-ranking officer of the Polish army Ryszard Kukliński makes a serious decision that will put his life, his family and the fate of an entire nation at risk.

One hundred soldiers of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, led by Michael Duda, fearlessly fighting against the Bolshevics and against the Nazis.

Lera is an Olympic shooting champion. When she was unjustifiably disqualified on charges of doping, she suddenly became unwanted. During her brilliant career, American specialists offered to perform free surgery on her seriously ill mother, but when the disqualification scandal broke, they demanded full payment from Lera. Desperate, the girl accepts an offer to become a hitwoman. Vadim is a successful businessman who fell victim to a plot hatched by his own wife and subordinate. On his anniversary, he unexpectedly learns that, thanks to their efforts, he is now bankrupt. Unable to cope with the collapse of his dazzling career, he breaks down and decides to end his life. By chance, the apartment in an abandoned building, from whose window Lera is supposed to fire her shot, also attracts Vadim. By a twist of fate, the characters meet.

80th years of the 20th century. The country is embraced by the "struggle" for "perestroika" and "glasnost", in Afghanistan - the height of the war, where hundreds die eighteen-year-old boys. Their peers, Denis, have little impact on the social problems of an agitated country. A newly-made student at the Institute of Cinematography - in euphoria and wine hops ... One night he encounters a strange, mysterious stranger and falls in love with her until unconscious ... Soon Denis learns that the lover is married and older than he. Elizaveta Tenetska - a famous director, almost a legend, she is talented and bold with authority. On Denis's passion, she answers with the icy cold...

The events of the film take place in the Soviet Union in the early 1980s. It is forbidden to listen to foreign radio stations, it is not safe to voice one’s opinions in front of strangers. Words of truth are spoken only in private kitchens behind the curtained windows. The KGB tap phones, survey the ‘unreliable’ and consistently step by step destroy all forms of decent. The protagonists challenge the inhumane state machine, putting on stake their very lives and proving that nothing and nobody can stop a person who is on his way to achieve a true freedom.

Film tells the story of one of the most difficult and tragic moments of the liberation war of Ukrainian people against the rule of Poland (1648 - 1657 years) - Battle of Zbarazh.
