She also played in movies, but only before 1945, as the cultural and social climate she represented didn't fit in the program of the post-war regime.

The archduke's grandfather wants to thwart the love between Princess Erzsébet and András Balogh, a young man of lower rank. He sends Erzsébet to Switzerland and András Balogh to Warsaw as an embassy secretary. However, Erzsébet follows András to Warsaw, where they both become embroiled in criminal complications when András has to return home with important diplomatic documents. Back home, it turns out that everything happened so that Erzsébet could soften the archduke's grandfather's heart and rescue András from the predicament he got himself into for Erzsébet's sake... The film is set in Warsaw, and the exterior shots were taken just before the outbreak of World War II, so the film still shows Warsaw intact.

Maria Kelemen is a secretary in the office of a bank in Budapest. Her boss, director Borden, courts her, albeit she is engaged to Paul (about which she has remained silent). On the day of the wedding, Paul becomes unemployed and takes on the role of a house-husband. During a visit at Borden’s, Maria introduces Paul as her brother, which incites raging jealousy in the latter.

In a small town in the countryside, the election of the president of the restaurant trade association is under way. The two rivals, Dénes Kövi, owner of the elegant Korona restaurant, and Antal Bálint, owner of the staid Makkhetes restaurant, are putting all their eggs in the basket for the title. Taking advantage of this situation, Pál Balázs, who has become the manager of his crippled painter friend, has a portrait commissioned with Dénes Kövi.
