LOVE... and other Bad Habits is a light-hearted, sometimes heartfelt, look at three different kinds of relationships in Singapore, from teen infatuation to the nuances of adult relationships.

Qingqing (Athena Chu) is a getai singer, an entertainer who sings for the souls of the departed in boisterous street shows held during the Hungry Ghost Festival. She meets and falls in love with an enigmatic but oddly familiar young man (Chen Hanwei) visiting Singapore, in this simple tale of love, loss and a lifelong friendship that reaches across death.

Struggling to come to terms with the death of her mother, Kim suddenly has to deal with a new mother in her life. Choon, Kim's father, brings home a woman one day and announces his decision to marry her. A series of mysterious and terrifying incidents start to occur at the family home after their return. Hong Daming is a positive and generous man. As his coffee shop and house number are both "118", the people around him gave him the nickname of "118" (or 要要发), much to his delight. Together with his wife, Liu Meimei, he makes a living by running the coffee-shop, and are well known in Tiong Bahru. Whenever someone is in need, they would always seek Daming for help. Having 6 people living in a 3-room flat is cramped-up enough, yet he also rents out a room to "Ah Niang", a middle-aged man whose original name is Li Weiliang. Weiliang studied fashion design in France, but circumstances led him to simply run a stall in 118's coffee-shop, selling dumplings with the recipe that his mother left for him.

The media in Taiwan is gripped by a recent incident where an ATM machine mysteriously dispensed a large amount of cash. With no suspects in sight, the police is stumped while the public is intrigued. As the wheel of revenge starts, a group of seemingly innocent young people, Xiao Ai (Joanne Tseng), Ting Xuan (Kuan-Ting Liu), Lu Di (Elvin Ng) and Dong Huang (Romeo Tan) get embroiled in the plot. Who is behind the ATM incident and what links are there with those in Singapore? As their fate intertwines, they soon realize they are closer to each other than they think.
