Four Seasons

All it takes is picking up the phone, dialing a number, and in barely half an hour, you'll have a guy in a red outfit standing at your doorstep with a pizza in his hand. Who's that guy bringing us dinner to go with a SuperBowl or Champion's League soccer game on TV or the latest Blu-ray blockbuster? In FOUR SEASONS, such a guy is Mario, a film geek, love addict and college drop-out with a less-than-impressive resume, who's facing an identity crisis at the end of his twenties while living with his grandpa. Mario delivers pizzas. He's one of the many surviving off his tips by working at Pizzicato, a pizza shop owned by one nasty, sleazy boss and the kind of place you would only dare order food from at gun-point.

The Last Days

A mysterious epidemic spreads across the planet. Humanity develops an irrational fear of open spaces that causes instant death. Soon, the world population is trapped inside buildings. As Barcelona descends into chaos, Marc sets off on a quest to find Julia, his missing girlfriend, without ever going outside.

Based on a true story, in late 1970s Barcelona, Manolo Vital, a bus driver, takes bold action to protest the neglect of Torre Baró, an immigrant neighborhood. His act becomes a symbol of resistance against systemic inequality during a pivotal moment in the city’s modern transformation.

Madrid, 1953. Gilda is a young orphan who difficultly survives in a ruined, post-civil war Spain. Opportunistic, ambitious and ruthless, she dreams of becoming a radio speaker and wants to get an official union card, a requisite for the job. She doesn't hesitate in joining an ultra-catholic fraternity and to become a police informant. But the suicide in prison of her aunt, a militant Republican, threatens to ruin her plans. She has only one solution left : to use her charms.

Barcelona was the first city bombed from the air, after the tragic bombing of Gernika. Between 16 and 18 March 1938, Barcelona was bombarded continuously day and night for three days, thousands of people lost their homes and in 1300 died (including 118 children). Events beyond the specific case of Barcelona, were decisive in establishing the foundations of the fateful World War II and the bombing of Dresden, Cologne, London, Hiroshima, Nagasaki ...
