After suffering a violent incident, a woman decides to become a vigilante, defending every woman who has suffered from physical or psychological abuse.

Omar (15) and Karina's (12) mother has a stroke during the family holidays. The siblings, drifting apart, will start a long journey through Mexico towards their grandmother's house. On the road they will face a broken and divided country. Where mistrust, resentment and violence are everywhere. Diverse characters -strangers on their own land- will lead them, in labyrinthic stages, until their final destiny.

This film portrays the dead day festival in Alahualtitla, Chicontepec Township in the state of Veracruz, and highlights the dependence of small communities of the town merchants and lenders, who allow the financing of these traditional festivals.
