A band of Indians led by the half-breed 'The Hawk' terrorizes prospectors in a valley. When the old prospector Clyde Selby hits the mother lode, The Hawk plans to kidnap his pretty blond daughter Mary Selby. This kidnapping actually proves one of the lesser of the perils faced by the poor Mary. Laramie, a government agent, wants with the help of his friendly Shoshone Indian friends to extricate the damsel-in-distress.

A New Yorker on his first trip out West falls in love with a beautiful woman he sees as he steps off the train. An hour later he finds himself forced at gunpoint to marry the very same woman, then is forced to fight the girl's family and friends to keep her.

A Pathe serial in ten chapters of two-reels each: Dan Winterslip, a wealthy man in Honolulu, has not spoken to his brother, who owns a hotel next to Winterslip's estate, in over twenty years. Minerva, sister to the estranged brothers, comes from Boston to try to reconcile the two men. John Quincy Winterslip, Dan's nephew, receives a letter instructing him to retrieve a box from an attic in San Francisco and dump the contents into the ocean. He is on board a ship bound for Hawaii in which other passengers are also after the box. Dan Winterslip is murdered. Charlie Chan, a Chinese detective, offers to help solve the killing and the mysteries surround the box. Chan is looking for the person whose wristwatch is missing the number 'three.'

Jack and Mary fall in love to the great displeasure of Rance Carter (Wilbur McGaugh) who has a yen for Mary himself. Jack and Mary not only have to be wary of Carter's crooked ways and machinations, but also of Indian uprisings, caused by Carter.

The Man Without a Face is a 1928 American adventure film serial directed by Spencer Gordon Bennet.

After the mysterious murder of John Cowles' father, the son starts west to borrow money of his father's business partner, Col. Meriwether. He meets the Colonel's daughter, Ellen, and falls in love with her, not telling her of his fiancée, Grace Sheraton. Gordon Orme, an old acquaintance, turns up, tells Col. Meriwether about Grace, and the Colonel is so enraged he refuses to lend the money. John's mother and Grace have followed John and his mother urges him to try the gold fields. He discovers gold and wins Ellen, after both Gordon and Grace, who is really in love with Gordon, are killed.

The story of this 10 episode serial deals with the love affair between Doris Sutton, daughter of a millionaire business magnate, whose affairs are under investigation by U. S. Senator Hornell, and Hornell's son, who under the name of Jack Rollins is endeavoring to make good as a big league player. Matters are complicated by Count Segundo, a foreign agent, who has been instructed to "get something" on Sutton.

Hade and Milo seek the fortune for themselves, as do the "conches" natives of Florida since the time the money was buried. Oil man Hugh Stanton embarks on one of his frequent business trips and leaves his wife, Patricia, in the care of Ted and Beatrice Mason. She also spends considerable time with Victor Raymier, the artist who is painting her portrait, unaware that he is a fraud who merely signs his name to the work of a real artist in his employ. One day, Victor persuades Patricia to accompany him to his country home. A storm forces them indoors and the fake artist proceeds to make unwanted advances on Patricia. The Masons come to her rescue, and following their return to the city, Patricia telephones her husband, asking him to come home. He informs her that the proceeds from his new oil well will enable him to be a full-time husband.

A Maritime Board of Inquiry investigates the loss of the merchant ship, the Black Rover . Its captain, Jim Parker, offers the following testimony on his own behalf: Jim is recommended by Fred Winthrop to his father, owner of the Winthrop Shipping Line, to command the Black Rover after its captain and crew refuse to make the voyage. Jim, who has just received his captain's papers, agrees, unaware that Winthrop is illegally running a cargo of contraband weapons. The film has never had a theatrical release. Production began in 1930 under the title "Contraband," stopped when the producers ran out of money, then began again under the title "Contraband Cargo." Production soon stopped again and was not resumed until 1939, when new footage was shot and footage from HELL HARBOR (1930) was edited in. The film was still deemed not suitable for theatrical distribution, and it was not until 1949 that it was finally released... for late night airing on television.

Mark O'Rell is sent to New York by his wife's Aunt Cordelia to recover a valuable quilt. In the city he finds the quilt, discovers that it conceals stolen jewels, and in consequence is pursued by both police and thieves. Police catch the thieves, Mark gets the quilt, and he returns home safely.

In Montana, they are mistaken for rustlers Dick (Tom London) and Jim (Yakima Canutt), and Bob again meets Madge, who recognizes him but wishes to make things difficult for him.
