Inspired by a real event, the film follows 27-year-old Lara (newcomer Diana Kolenc), a paramedic intern who helps bring 30-year-old Kristijan (Vito Weiss) into the hospital, after he was brutally beaten on a Facebook live stream that was seen by 20,000 people and no one called the police. Although Kristijan is in a coma, Lara starts to receive video clips from his Facebook profile, showing unidentified persons watching him get beaten. She reports this to detective Borut (Jure Henigman, from A Trip and Dual), who starts an investigation. All the observers, who appear in the video clips, will become Lara’s nightmare in her real life. She soon realizes that she is also an accomplice in this horrible event.

In this intelligent mix of Sofia Coppola’s “Lost in Translation” and Christopher Nolan’s “Memento”, the protagonist Rok loses his memory and is seemingly turning into a better man. Or will his ultra-radical past take over his personality again?

The central theme of all stories is love that eventually everybody die of.

Story is based on a novel of the first Slovene female writer from the 19th century when also the story of the film is set. It's a never-ending and forever repeating story of neighbors, who can not reconcile. As they need the fight to stand out for their position of "neighbors", as that's the ultimate and only role of people living next to each other being called neighbors.

This three-part historical epic of the lives and misfortunes of the Vrhunc family in the former Yugoslavia is divided into the years of 1914, 1924, and 1944. In 1914, the wealthy Vrhunc patriarch owns valuable land and operates a lucrative mine. He is conservative and wants to hold on to the status quo, and so when the region breaks away from Hapsburg rule, he loses out. His wife, in the meantime, is a tragic figure who has an unhappy solution to her stifling existence with her husband and children. In part II, set in 1924, the fascists and communists are fighting for footholds among the population and in the government, and the Vrhunc family is torn apart because their own allegiances are divided between the two opposing extremes. In part III, the family suffers the most, as Nazi collaborators are rounded up and shot by Partisans, and chaos reigns.

The new authorities mistakenly imprison Marjan.

In the middle of a hot summer, a homeless woman is murdered in the centre of Ljubljana. At least as much as her death is troubled by the fact that the murder took place in a park right next to the General Police Administration. In addition to Taras's and Tina's relationship, resentment is being drawn from the events at Lake Bohinj over Taras' treatment of the spoiled son of an influential man, so the head of Drvarič assigns the management of the case to Tini instead of Taras. The start of the investigation is not the most promising, as none of the occupants of the park detected anything unusual, even though the windows look out of all the apartments.
