Venusita falls in love with the son of a wealthy family whose mother sends her son off to the United States in order to keep the two apart. Not to be rejected so easily, Venusita visits Saurina the sorceress who comes up with a spell that kills off the merchant and zaps the son back home, but Venusita's problems are far from over.

Fausto and Esther childhood was tormented. Fausto, trying to escape from his father. Esther, mistreated by her brother-in-law. They both begin to be involved in a supernatural situation. Over which they have no control.

A family on the brink of a break up: dad is about to throw out mom because of her gambling addiction, the oldest boy's girlfriend is about to leave him because of his epilepsy and the youngest child thinks he has the perfect plan to bring the family back together again.

Elena is a thin and fashion-conscious woman ashamed of her daughter's chubbiness. She's willing to do the impossible to make her daughter Linda thin so Linda will look like a little princess on the day she receives her first communion.
