Night of Champions (2010) was a PPV that took place on September 19, 2010 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. It was the fourth annual event under the "Night of Champions" name and the tenth annual event under the Vengeance/Night of Champions chronology. Similar to the previous three events, the concept of the show was that every championship in the company was defended at the event. Randy Orton, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Edge, John Cena, and Chris Jericho competed in a Six-pack challenge elimination match for the WWE Championship. The Undertaker challenged Kane in a No Holds Barred match for the World Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Bryan faced The Miz for the US Championship, Dolph Ziggler faced Kofi Kingston for the IC Championship, A Tag Team Turmoil match took place for the Tag Team Belts, and The Big Show fought CM Punk in the first non title match at a Night of Champions PPV.

In a match marked by confusion and controversy, CM Punk puts his 300 day reign as WWE Champion on the line against the one man who embodies the respect he’s been challenging for – John Cena. Survivor Series was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by WWE. It took place on November 24, 2013 at the TD Garden in Boston, and is the twenty-seventh annual Survivor Series show. The main event was a singles match for the WWE Championship with Randy Orton defending against Big Show. A secondary main event was John Cena defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Alberto Del Rio. Other matches included The Wyatt Family vs CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry vs Ryback, Big E Langston defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Curtis Axel, and two traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team matches. The first was The Shield and The Real Americans versus The Usos, Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes, and Goldust while the second was Team Total Divas versus Team "True" Divas.

For the first time in over a decade The Rock is WWE Champion. But a fuming CM Punk is determined to make The Great One's reign a footnote and get his title back.
