A bittersweet comedy that follows three generations of the unlucky Tredici family from Corsica in the 1940's to an Indiana fruit farm in the present.

Hollywood animator Tom (Alex McArthur) gets lost in the Michigan woods after a snowmobile ride goes wrong. He finds refuge at an isolated cabin inhabited by two sisters (Laura Esterman and Sage Allen). Initially grateful to them, Tom soon realizes that the women are cannibals who peg him as their next meal. Tom's friends manage to rescue him, but he's perpetually haunted by his horrific ordeal.

After her two younger sisters leave home, Maren, a Midwest sod farmer by day, and a drummer by night, is left alone to take care of her depressed, narcotic-abusing father. Eventually recognizing her unhappiness, Maren's father insists she pursue her dreams of becoming an Americana musician.

Troubled 13-year-old Julie loses her mother and must go to Indiana to live with her grandmother Karen. A former star of stage and screen, Karen has the early stages of Alzheimer's and wants to pass on all she knows to her granddaughter before it's too late. Will their troubled relationship allow this to happen?
