Peter and Lena had a daughter, Zuzka, soon after their wedding. Lena graduated from drama school and wanted to act, but there were no vacancies in the theater in the city where they lived, and she was forced to join a traveling troupe. Lena was away from home for months. Peter and Zuzka missed her very much. One day, Peter met Eva and fell in love with her. When Lena learned about this, she returned to the city, never to be separated from her family again.

At the funeral of his schoolmate, the nearly-fifty-year old architect Jirí Mánek (Václav Voska) meets his former close acquaintance - physician Jarmila (Blanka Bohdanová). They both are still single. Jarmila has recently returned to Prague after years of work on the frontier. Jirí leaves for a business trip. As a conservationist, he is to grant permission for an adaptation of a Baroque château to office spaces. On the road, a pretty young hitchhiker named Eva (Ida Rapaicová) stops him. Eva is Slovak and her spontaneous behavior enchants Jirí. He thus does not mind making a short detour and takes Eva all the way to the luxurious cottage of her parents. A romance develops between the two people, so different in age and temperament.

A Czechoslovak battalion, led by Captain Hloušek, conquers a Slovak mountain village two days before Christmas Eve 1944. Christmas and classical music is heard from nearby German positions. The soldiers get permission from their commanders to celebrate Christmas. The only one against is the austere second lieutenant Jílek, about whose past there are various rumours and whom the soldiers distrust. Captain Hloušek decides to reconnoitre the enemy positions, which, despite a minor incident, goes off without a hitch. The holiday of peace and tranquility can begin both with ours and the enemy...

A Slovak detective story set in contemporary Bratislava and featuring ordinary people with their own everyday problems. The violent death of Olga Holešová places them under heavy suspicion of murder. A series of strange coincidences and circumstances complicate the investigators' work. Her husband's infidelity, the loss of a large sum of money that the treasurer Fiala is supposed to replace, a lawyer earning extra money by doing various odd jobs - all these are confusing clues, among which investigator Jakubec eventually finds a thread that will lead him to the correct solution to the case.

A psychological drama from the judiciary. Lawyer Kolár handles the case of the rape and murder of a fourteen-year-old girl and tries to remove the fifteen-year-old boy from suspicion and subsequent conviction based on discrepancies in the case file.
