A drama about double personality

In Buenos Aires, Frederico hides in a ship going to Rio de Janeiro to travel for free. But Azulão, the cook, finds him and blackmails him into working in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Alberto, the captain, receives a radio message saying that there was a dangerous international spy on board. Things get worse when some passports are mixed-up.

In Rio de Janeiro, Gilberto (Celso Guimarães) is a talented artisan engaged of Marina (Lídia Mattos), working in a pottery factory. He is hired by the millionaire widow Luciana (Carmem Santos) to perform a restoration in her castle in Correas, a district of Petrópolis. He suffers an accident and Luciana lodges and treats him for a long period, and they fall in love for each other.

When Ricardo finds the cigarette case lost by Anjo in the entrance of the hotel, he is misidentified by the thieves, and this is the beginning of lots of confusion and fun.

A Brazilian musical comedy

The boss of Gilberto, an exemplary employee, wants to marry him with his daughter, Elisabeth. But her cousin, an unattractive girl, appears to meet him. Gilberto, who leads a hectic life, knows Betty, independent girl by whom one falls in love. In the end, she discovers that she is the boss's daughter.

This story begins with Marcelo's funeral. His family, his fiancée Lúcia and three suspicious men are the only people accompanying the coffin. By night, at home, Rosa, Ricardo and Lúcia notice something strange: Marcelo's room has been completely ransacked. Suddenly, the phone rings. Rosa answers and hears the voice of her son who had just died. The shock is too strong for the poor lady, who dies of a syncope. To understand these sinister events, we have to go back three days...

Two friends grow together in the same neighborhood but, as adults, take different paths in life. One becomes an honest worker, and the other gets strayed. But the good guy's sister has an affair with her brother's friend, and is much abused by him. Her brother wants revenge. But when he sees him in danger, some time later, he must decide which is the stronger feeling: the former friendship, or his wish for revenge.
