Kankal is a social horror drama which shows how a spirit can fulfil its desire with its intense power. The story begins with Abhay being killed by a skeleton and police come for the inspection. Dr. Sanyal takes us back to the story where Tarala got married to Rattan, a rich man. But Tarala's sister-in-law's brother, Abhay was in love with Tarala whom Tarala didn't like for his bad attitude and lower education. So to take the revenge, Abhay married Rattan's sister. By moulding Rattan, Abhay took all his wealth and tried to rape Tarala. Though Rattan came to save her, he was being driven out by Abhay. In this situation Tarala passes away unknowingly and Abhay tried to hide her dead body by throwing it in the river. Rattan unable to find his wife became mad and roamed around in search for her.

Mondo Meyer Upakhyan

Rajani is a well-known prostitute in a small town in Bengal, India, living in a brothel with her teenage daughter, Lati. With few options for a better life, Rajani hopes to arrange a marriage for her daughter with a wealthy local businessman - an idea Lati opposes. Asadharan

Asadharan is the story of Jagabandhu, a man who is always eager to help people. He doesn't even think of his well-being in his efforts to do so. The district's magistrate asks him to help him and reveals the corrupt government officials. Jagabandhu falsely declares his death, hoping to get financial help and the support of the people. No one turns up for his funeral, and he is disheartened. He reveals the corrupt people and leaves his district forever.

Tensions between two brothers arise when one of their daughters marries a government employee. One day after a quarrel, when he hears baseless and incorrect news that Padma was having an affair with the doctor, he comes to murder the doctor with a knife. In the darkness, drunken Udas killed his old mate, Padma. As a result, he was convicted and sentenced to death.

Padi Pishir Barmi Baksha

Khoka is a schoolboy who goes to his uncle's house, where he learns about the tales of Padi Pishi (Aunt Padi), a formidable widow. She had once gone to Khuro's house to meet him, but bandits attacked her. When Khuro got to know about it, he offered her bribes from his loot so that the news would not be public. Padi Pishi then took a precious Burmese box that was hidden in Khuro's house. Before Padi's Pishi's death, she did not reveal the hiding place to anyone except her son Goja. The entire family searched for the missing box but could not recover it. A private detective also searched for the box but could not find it. The story is about how it is finally discovered. Padi Pishir Barmi Baksha is an Indian Bengali adventure comedy film directed by Arundhati Devi. It is based on the children's novel of the same name by Leela Majumdar.
